Coach Pete Ramsay, who has been coaching at Downingtown East since 2002, has recently been elected into the Conestoga High School Hall of Fame.  Coach Ramsay spent thirty five years at the helm of Conestoga's program, coaching numerous state championship athletes and initiating a winter track program at the school during his time there.  He retired in 1995 but has since come out to help the Downingtown East program in the winter and spring.  Coach Ramsay is one of only four coaches to be inducted into the hall, and the Downingtown East community congratulates him on such a prestigious accomplishment.  His achievements will be recognized by Conestoga at a banquet in late October.
